The Mini Sound Shelter provides a controlled acoustic environment in which audiological examinations can be undertaken efficiently and at low cost – fully complying with BS EN ISO 8253-1

The compact design of the booth ensures that it will pass easily through any standard doorway, and fitted castors make it completely mobile.
Full equipped with a silenced ventilation system, lighting, seating, shelf and jack-panel audiometer connections, the 250 series sound shelter is ready to use within minutes of delivery.

Outside dimensions: 710mm wide x 981mm deep x 1943mm high. Includes castors.

53mm thick, Noiseshield panels – plain galvanized steel exterior surfaces and perforated galvanized steel interior surfaces.
One door 604mm wide x 1680mm high (clear opening) Noise-Lock door. For complete safety and effective acoustic control, self-aligning magnetic compression seals are mounted on the top, bottom and sides of the door leaf.
One double glazed unit comprises of 6mm thick safety glass fitted in aluminium frames; clear view 736mm high x 584mm wide. The lower portion of the window has a frosted section.
Completely pre-wired flush-mounted jack panel consists of three 6mm 3 pole sockets and two 6mm 2 poles sockets.
Ceiling panel contains a Tranquil – Air all-in-one silenced forced ventilation system.
30 watt tungsten lamp.
Separate switches operate the ventilation system and the lamp. A 13 amp switched socket is positioned adjacent to the jack panel for the operation of an audiometer. A 300mm long drop cord with fitted 13-amp plug is provided for connection to power.
Outside mounted folding shelf for audiometer, 705mm long x 457mm deep with white laminate finish.
Fixed internal bench seat 460mm deep with white laminate finish to match shelf.
Covered with foam backed nylon carpet, glued to the floor and trimmed with black coved moulding. The carpet is protected by a loose cleanable rubber mat.
Noise reduction is defined as the measured difference between the sound pressure levels in a reverberant room, outside the booth and inside the booth.
